  • Please allow advance notice for prescription refills.
    You may request a refill by:

    • Emailing the clinic, or

    • Asking your pharmacy to fax a refill request to our office

    For long-term medications, an appointment is generally not required,
    except for controlled substances, which do require an appointment and reassessment.

  • All test results — both normal and abnormal — will be sent to you through the patient portal.

    • Blood work and urine tests: 1–2 days

    • Urine or swab cultures: 3–5 days

    • Imaging (e.g. X-ray, ultrasound): up to 1 week

    If a result is urgent or requires immediate attention, Dr. Yao will call you directly.

  • Please be advised that wait time to hear back from a specialist can be 1-2 months. If you have not heard back by 1 month, please let me know via email (drgordonyao@gmail.com)

  • You can register your information here. If the waitlist is closed, we are no longer accepting new patients at this time.

  • An appointment is required for form completion to ensure accuracy and appropriate assessment.
    Most forms are not covered by OHIP and are subject to fees.
    Please refer to our Uninsured Services fee list for details.

  • Yes. Some services are not covered by OHIP and may require a fee. These include (but are not limited to):

    • Sick notes and medical letters

    • Insurance, school, employment, and government forms

    • Driver’s medical exams

    • Missed appointments and non-OHIP visits

    Our fees follow Ontario Medical Association (OMA) guidelines.
    Please refer to our Uninsured Services fee list for detailed pricing.
